Speeding Up Your WordPress Website

So for the last couple of months I have been looking to improve my knowledge in speeding up websites. After all it is an integral part of the web design process and even more important when it comes to SEO.

I usually outsource this part of the process and I have had the priviledge of working with several talented specialists. But it’s now at the point where I need to up my own game in this area. So I have been reading, researching and experimenting. I use several tools and now have several of my own tips and tricks I can’t wait to share (once I can explain how I did it) 😉

But when Jessica Knapp of Blogging Basics 101 reached out to me and shared some of her work, I was like BAM!!!! She is full of great tips and tricks when it comes to blogging and improving your blog.

So when she showed me this infographic I was like, “I HAVE TO SHARE THIS ON MY BLOG!!!!!” and she was like “cool”.

Actually she was very humble and encouraged me to freely share her stuff and so here it is. This a great process with many valuable tips to optimizing your WordPress website for optimal load times and speed. I hope it’s as much a blessing to you as it is to me.

Thanks for this Gene! Thoughts about ET’s Monarch plugin for sharing? Does that also slow down the site?
